Nestled in the Scottish Highlands, Auch covers 28,200 acres square kilometres of untamed wilderness and is one of the largest remaining hill farms in Scotland. Our 8,500 sheep and cattle roam freely, sharing this rugged, beautiful landscape with deer, eagles and other native fauna. With seven munros, six corbetts, and the majestic Loch Lyon, Auch is truly a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. The estate’s historic lodge and farmhouses have been thoughtfully rebuilt into modern, climate‑friendly cottages — ideal for individuals, couples and families seeking a homely Highland stay and memories to cherish.

Trail Cabins at Auch Village offers simple but cosy en-suite rooms by the West Highland Way. We also know how hungry you’ll be after a day on the trail, which is why we offer complimentary breakfast packs for our Trail Cabins guests.

Auch Cottages are pet-friendly. A maximum of two dogs per booking is allowed. An additional £30 cleaning fee per dog per stay will be charged.
As we are a working farm, we kindly ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times to protect your pets and the other animals on the Auch Estate.
Unfortunately, Trail Cabins cannot accommodate dogs.

As we are a small team in a remote location, we are unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. A £50/ hour late check out fee will apply, as we need to prepare for incoming guests. Thank you for your understanding.
Designated parking is available outside your cottage:
-2-Bed Cottages: One parking space per cottage
-3-Bed Cottages: Two parking spaces per cottage
If you have more cars than the allocated spaces, or if you are staying in a Trail Cabin, please park at the office area, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Arriving in a camper van or large vehicle? Please contact the Estate before your stay to arrange suitable parking.
Vehicles are parked at owners’ risk — we can’t guarantee against curious or escapee cows.
We do not currently have a café or restaurant on site. All Auch Cottages and Trail Cabins are self-catered.
We offer 3–4 ready-to-cook meal options (including vegetarian choices), prepared by a local farm butcher and café. These can be pre-ordered via our website. Learn more.
Trail Cabin guests will receive a complimentary breakfast pack.
The nearest grocery options are The Green Welly Store and The Brodies Mini Market in Tyndrum, approximately 4 miles from Auch Estate. We recommend stocking up at a supermarket on your way to Auch.
